La Morenita's proposal is to create high jewellery collections, that are both timeless and include permanent pieces, as well as an avant-garde line. These collections feature styles ranging from the urban to the romantic and elegant. Unique accessories and add-ons are sometimes worked into the designs, maybe using found pieces that she came across at antiques fairs, flea markets or inside an old trunk.
The creations are one-of-a-kind, and the designer personally oversees every item.
After graduating in law and working for several years in fashion, modelling and advertising, she began designing in 2002. Her designs for Paul & Joe London were critically acclaimed, and after achieving great success in the London market Alma created her brand, La Morenita. The brand was subsequently presented in Spain, taking by storm the most avant-garde circles in the national scene.
The collections include several lines that adapt to different styles and personalities. La Morenita likes to play with a mix of materials and elements and a fusion of trends.
Her designs are aimed at an urban woman who is independent and versatile. Someone who follows trends but has her own, unique take on them. A woman who seeks exclusivity in fashion, who can wear a necklace as a centrepiece of her outfit, making a statement, making her stand out from the crowd.
